The Fisker Karma, went on sale in 2011 and was gone by the following year. However, it re-emerged a few years later as Karma Automotive. They new company adopted the model name as its brand, reintroduced a much-updated version of the car and is planning a line of electrified vehicles. The Karma Revero GT is one of them, an extended-range electric vehicle that costs $135,000.
Car designers may loathe the term “retro,” but when done right, retro can raise pulses. The BMW Z8 certainly raised pulses when introduced for model year 2000 – and it still does today.
Automotive connoisseurs are likely to keep their garages stocked with the best internal combustion vehicles from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Porsche for a long time. But it’s a safe bet those same garages will make room for high-performance EVs.

Call it a case of good karma. Henrik Fisker is back in the car business, but this time there’s not an electric motor in sight. Fisker unveiled the 218-mph Force 1 sports car at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January and announced it would go into limited production this year at the VLF Automotive facility in Auburn Hills, Mich.
