For its 7th edition of The Bonham’s Amelia Island Auction – scheduled this year for Thursday, May 20, Bonhams will lift the gavel on a particularly rich set of offerings, including 83 lots of prime memorabilia and collectibles, 8 vintage carriages, and some 110 collector vehicles from the dawn of motoring to 2019, including vintage vehicles and Classic Era from several noted private collections.
Integral to the festivities related to the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance since its 1999 inception, RM Sotheby’s returns to the beautiful grounds of the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island for the company’s 23rd Amelia Island Auction.
Chris Warren, our Southwest Sales Manager, stumbled across his pick for $150k while visiting a dealership. He choose a beautiful yellow 2018 Porsche GT3, worth $150k on the nose. According to Chris, you would be “hard-pressed to find a more fun car to drive”.
Sales Manager Chris Warren’s car buying advice for people looking to spend $75K is to find an early model Ferrari California. Although it may take some digging and patience to find one in that price range in great condition and with reasonable mileage, Chris promises that they are out there. According to Chris, it’s a car that’s way cooler than most new cars or trucks in that price range.
Spanning August 12th-14th, Bonhams annual Quail Lodge Auctions will be held online. They will be part of Petersen Museum’s Online Car Week, welcome set of car events including a Concours d’Elegance finale on August 16.
