The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance
Now in its 24th year, the Amelia Island Concours is welcoming over 300 vehicles to the gentle slopes of The Amelia Island Golf Course. Only road cars, race cars, and motorcycles of the finest pedigree earn the right to be shown at what is, without question, one of the nation’s premier concours. Past Best-in-Show winners have distinguished titles like Duesenberg, Bugatti, and Ferrari. The scenery is no less majestic, as a line of luxury hotels are the only things separating the automotive fairway from the vast Atlantic Ocean.
The entrants, built prior to 1974, will be judged on the basis of their condition, originality, and historical or cultural importance. This year’s featured classes include mid-engined sports cars, and the often bespoke conveyances of former kings, queens, and heads of state.
