Edison Concours d’Elegance – October 16th to 18th

October 16-18th will mark the 1st Edison Concours d’Elegance at Llewellyn Park, on the historic grounds of Glenmont, the home of Thomas A. Edison. America’s first planned community, Llewellyn Park was founded in 1857 and sits just 12 miles from Manhattan. The park includes many of the great historic homes once owned by Edison’s neighbors, the Colgates, Stetsons, Chubbs and the Mercks, all built within 400 acres of idyllic landscaped woodlands.

  • Friday evening offers a welcome reception of cocktails and camaraderie beginning at 6:30pm.
  • Saturday attendees will enjoy a tour of the grounds and learn much of Edison’s history before gathering at the Highlawn Pavillion for the evening’s gala. The Highlawn Pavillion offers a remarkable view of the New York City skyline during the Gala’s dinner, dancing and silent auction. All proceeds from this event will benefit The Edison Innovation Foundation, The West Orange Scholarship Fund and The Llewellyn Park Preservation Foundation.
  • On Sunday, the Edison Concours d’Elegance commences at 9:30am with a display of 80 cars featuring electric cars from Edison’s time to pre-war American and European Marques, the concours will also include a small group of modern supercars.
