Cavallino 2015: Blustery but Beautiful

Palm Beach Never Disappoints

The Breakers Hotel welcomed the roar of contemporary and vintage Ferrari’s to their quiet little island for this year’s Cavallino Classic. Parking difficulties are always a great way to judge the crowd. Just as in years past, we were hard-pressed to find a spot. All available spaces were filled with Ferrari’s, Bentley’s, Lamborgini’s, Bugatti’s and so on down the line.  The restaurants and bars full with patrons telling great stories of all things Ferrari. As always, Palm Beach never disappoints.

The Palm Beach Cavallino Classic is an annual gathering of auto enthusiasts from around the world. It celebrates Ferrari from racing to art, from cars to parts. The weekend is kicked off with some track time for drivers and the enjoyment for spectators at the Palm Beach International Raceway. There are also a driving tour in Palm Beach, seminars, and receptions. In addition, a jet port and yacht parties and of course the Concorso di Eleganza. The time in Palm Beach for Cavallino is a choice between harried or relaxed; it is all up to you.

Ferrari Watching

The weather went from spectacular to ‘eh’ over the weekend. The proud owners who watched the racing on sunny Friday displayed some of the more rare examples from Ferrari worth millions in the drizzle of Saturday. Thankfully, an army of men wielding chamois made sure these beauties did not stay wet for long. Nor was the crowd diminished by the weather.  There was a steady flow all day long throughout the grounds at The Breakers. A blustery but delightful Sunday had many strolling the lawn at the Mar-A-Lago Club for their final injection of automotive masterpieces. A great finish to yet another great Cavallino Classic.

Premier Financial Services was honored and excited to be a sponsor again in 2015. We met many of our clients at the Concorso. We also met several people from around the country in Palm Beach for the event who were happy to find out about our PFS Simple Lease Program. Our CEO, Mitch Katz, had a hard time walking into the Breakers even for a bottle of water without bumping into a friend or one of our dealer partners at every turn! Until next year Palm Beach!
