Monterey

The dog days of summer are upon us and what better way to break up the monotony than a trip to Monterey.  A few years ago, I started renting a house for the week rather than staying in a hotel from Thursday to Sunday.  As a result, I discovered all the wonderful things to do early in the week that I had been missing previously.  I've lost count of the ever increasing number of events that take place during the week and in this month's newsletter you will find an itinerary of all there is to see and do.

Aside from the fun one can have during a week in Monterey, many people, myself included are wondering about the values of classic cars.  We have already seen an adjustment in pricing on many models and with all the craziness going on in the world, the auctions often give us a sense of which direction the market is heading.
In this month's Osborne Files, Donald Osborne gives his take on macroeconomic events and the effect they may have on the collector car market.

Also in this month's issue, we preview our favorite Monterey concours -Concourso Italiano and the Porsche Werks Reunion- and shine a spotlight on Keith Neelans, our Northeast Sales Manager.

I look forward to seeing many of you next week.

Happy Motoring,

Mitch Katz, CEO
