Model Masterpiece Iso Grifo

The Grifo was a rarity, with 402 built from 1964-1974 in several versions. The car was actually the first of that series and the show car for that year’s Turin Auto Show. And to think, it all began with a little bubble car.

Mm Bmwz8

Car designers may loathe the term “retro,” but when done right, retro can raise pulses. The BMW Z8 certainly raised pulses when introduced for model year 2000 – and it still does today.

Model Masterpiece Maserati Mistral

“Glamorous” is not a word you hear to describe modern Italian sports and GT cars. Model Masterpiece Mercedes Benz 540k

The RM Sotheby’s Amelia Island auction will offer a 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K Cabriolet B. This is a so-called “early” Cabriolet B, which retains 500K-style bodywork, including vertical louvers on the hood sides, but with certain 540K features, including the bumpers. The Cabriolet B was distinguished by its four-passenger interior, with a comfortable rear seat for two, and a soft top with rear quarter windows.

In just eight days, thousands of car enthusiasts will crowd the Amelia Island barrier island for a weekend of displays, fine auctions, and concours. The sales and shows revolve around the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, the acme of Florida’s automotive calendar.

Vintage Corner 1965 Jaguar E Type Series 1 4.2 Litre Roadster

Jaguar drove into auction history when a 1963 E-Type Lightweight sold for $7.37 million at the 2017 Bonhams Scottsdale sale. Meanwhile, over at RM Sotheby’s, a stunning 1965 Series 1 Roadster went for.

Vintage Corner De Tomaso Pantera

The Pantera was a queen of diamonds, a sexy Italian-built supercar that inspired lust on first sight, but with a Ford V8 under its rear hood promised.
