2018 Amelia Island Itinerary
The 2018 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is the first major competition of the automotive year, bringing with it 225 of the finest pre-1974 automobiles ever assembled. Even among this rarefied group, winning Best in Show is no small feat; vehicles must contend with field of strange and wonderful bedfellows, not to mention a team of exacting judges. All of this notoriety attracts a number of similarly distinguished gatherings, like Festivals of Speed. Saturday’s Cars & Coffee regularly draws over 500 entrants. Premier is proud to be a sponsor of the Porsche Werks Reunion that will be celebrating Porsche’s 70th anniversary alongside the concours.
Manufacturers and dealers of upmarket automobiles like Aston Martin and McLaren also flock to the concours green to exhibit their latest offerings. Meanwhile, opportunities to test-drive exotic cars provide a high-speed counterpoint to seminars on ground-effect racecars and the future of electric vehicles.
