Douglas J. Ewing, Vice President of National Sales

Doug Ewing began his career in the automotive industry straight out of college. He continues to enjoy his chosen field to this day, with his love of cars, boats, and all things mechanical dating back to his childhood. Doug's experience and passionate interest have made him an authority on vintage and exotic automobiles. As a result, his expertise has become crucial to Premier in the structuring and financing of deals.

An auto enthusiast, Doug is an exuberant participant at many of the events that Premier sponsors. He regularly attends the RM auctions in Amelia Island, Scottsdale, Meadowbrook, and Monterey, as well as concours such as the Festival of Speed and Le Belle Macchine. This April, Doug will once again be participating in the Copperstate 1000, a vintage road rallye through Arizona.

In addition to his love of cars, Doug is an avid boater. He has sailed the Eastern seaboard multiple times, even surviving a hurricane during the "Marion Bermuda Race," a semi-annual race that runs from Massachusetts to Bermuda. Attention to detail is Doug's trademark, whether at home or in the office. His skill in carpentry, where the motto is "measure twice, cut once," is exactly the same maxim he uses when working with dealers and clients - he does what it takes to get the deal done right the first time.

Doug has been key in strengthening Premier's sales staff through training and regional development. He also has used his technological savvy to keep Premier's internal systems on the cutting edge. More than anything, though, Doug loves making things happen. Whether working with customers or motivating the sales team, Doug's self-proclaimed love for the "art of the deal" enables him to look at a situation and make it a reality.
