It has become a very popular place with locals. It is Italian style pizza cooked in a brick oven. One favorite is the Margarita Pizza. Informal dining. Corner of North 3rd Street and Alachua Barbara Jean's Restaurant - very nice crab cakes - good place to eat outside & reasonably priced. The atmosphere is quiet and nice for conversation. Service is great, too. Seating inside and outside try to get a table on the upstairs balcony, it is great around sunset. 14 South Second St. (904) 321-2558 Moon River Pizza – Great Pizza! You can buy it by the slice - and it is better when you do. Try the one called “The Pizza”! 925 S 14th St (904) 321-3400 Plae Restaurant - A nice upscale restaurant on the Plantation. Atmosphere is very nice and the food is good. 80 Amelia Village Cir (904) 277-2132 T-Ray’s - This is a little local establishment that everyone has to try! It is a little grill inside a gas station – and it has been written up in Southern Living as well as other publications. Very tiny and informal.
