The auctions at Amelia Island offer visitors the best the collector car arena has to offer, but there is more to see and do beyond the auctions. Joe’s Bistro (on 2nd Street) – Fairly upscale with fabulous food. The atmosphere is quiet and nice for conversation. Service is great, too. Seating inside and outside try to get a table on the upstairs balcony, it is great around sunset. 14 South Second St. (904) 321-2558

Plae Restaurant - A nice upscale restaurant on the Plantation. Atmosphere is very nice and the food is good.

T-Ray’s - This is a little local establishment that everyone has to try! It is a little grill inside a gas station – and it has been written up in Southern Living as well as other publications. Very tiny and informal. They have fabulous southern breakfasts and great lunches, too. You’ll see lots of locals
